I've been dying for months to share some of Sara's Bridal Portraits! She is so gorgeous, and we had so much fun at her session!
Rusty and I both wanted to photograph their big day, and Megan Duvall (who also second shoots Weddings with me on occasion) wanted to come along as well! So there were three of us at the Rachel Wedding to document every step of the way! When we arrived, Sara and Tyler were getting ready for their First Look.
Sweet, right? I then took them across the road for some sweet images of just the two of them.
It was Wedding time! We loaded up and went inside to watch as Sara and Tyler became Mr. & Mrs. Rachel!
I asked Sara to share how she and Tyler first met......
"Me and Tyler first started talking around November-December of 2010. We met through mutual friends and kind of began chatting back and forth on Facebook. When we realized we had the shared passion of graphic design, we began texting. And I'm pretty sure we haven't stopped texting each other since. He asked me to be his girlfriend on March 24, 2011 and the rest is really just happy history.
When he proposed, I had no idea what was coming – you gotta realize, that’s a big feat for me. Usually I find out at least 70% of my Christmas presents because my mom is so easy to give in… but I was very happily surprised to find out she held the BIGGEST secret in for 1 whole month. So when we took a trip to Cape San Blas, Florida, I was not expecting the walk on the secluded beach at sunset to end with the most gorgeous ring I had ever seen in my life, with a promise I had always dreamt of keeping. I was going to marry the love of my life!
The wedding day was basically stress free. We both had such a wonderful time; lots of laughs, smiles, and tears, with such a great group of people that came together to truly make it a perfect day. Thankfully we had the excellent Russell Photography team to capture such timeless, beautiful photos that we will remember for a lifetime!"
Sara and her father dancing together was a beautiful moment, and this dance always makes me emotional; it's just kind of a given. I didn't expect to cry though when Tyler danced with his mom, but I did! As a mom of a sweet little boy, I couldn't help but imagine myself doing this dance years into the future. You could totally feel her heart as they danced!
Sara and Tyler-- You guys have blessed me along this journey! It has been an honor to document your love for one another. I wish you the very best!
